At Berkeley, many of the lower division science classes have more than 300
students in one lecture time. With so many other students, it is often hard
for students to get to know their professors on a more personal basis. Our
Faculty Student Luncheons are designed to bridge the gap between students
and their professors. mcbUSA is working on more programs and events to encourage
and help students feel more comfortable in such large classes as well as
foster a closer relationship between the faculty and the students.
