Thank you Michael Bronski for sharing your story about how science saved your life. He spoke at the 2017 Commencement Ceremony as the MCB student speaker. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors!
Below are articles from various sources about the MCB Graduate Program and its students.
Congratulations to our 2017 MCB Graduates!
Our department invited 110 prospective students to our 2017 Recruitment Visits. Recruits interviewed with faculty and got a feel for the Berkeley grad student life, including a hike to the Big "C." It was a blast welcoming them to our campus!
The Department Welcomes the Class of 2016 to our program. The students enjoyed a three day orientation, which culminated in a wine and cheese reception on Friday, August 19th at Alumni House.
Sarah Hamilton joins the MCB Graduate Affairs Office just in time for the beginning of the new academic year.
Sarah comes to us from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where she worked as a Student Services Advisor. Prior to working at the Academy of Art, she worked as a Counseling Intern at Cal State, Chico and holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Psychology.
Sarah will mainly focus on third year and beyond student support, together with managing our recruitment, orientation, GSI appointment and commencement activities (to name just a few).
